As I write this, I am indulging in listening to Glasto on BBC iPlayer in the comfort of my home. No mud, no rain, no bum scrum at the bar, no hideous queues for the loos, no waterlogged tent, no panic about running out of loo paper and on and on it goes. What could be better? Well, a lot, actually. I could be there enjoying the electric buzz of the atmosphere, seeing some great artists, acts, comedy, and the mystical magic of the event.
